RETREATS

Silent Directed Retreats - Fall/Winter 2023

Silent Directed retreats allow us to deepen our relationship with God. They offer an experience grounded in solitude, silence and prayer, including daily meetings with a trained spiritual director. This time invites one to listen deeply to the movements of the Spirit.

Guided Retreats - 2024

August 5-12

Guided Retreat:
Cosmos, Christ and Commitment; Seeking God Anew
Facilitator: Mary Rowell CSJ

“In our seeking we find God at the heart of the Universe seeking us.” This retreat draws us ever deeper into an experience of this great mystery. In turn, the mystery invites us to encounter Christ anew in the Cosmos, in the context of the Gospels and in our personal lives. Through daily experiences of silence, personal and communal prayer, presentations, and sharing we will encounter Divine Mystery in the World and in our hearts.

August 20-26

Guided Retreat:
Finding God in Ordinary Days
Facilitator: Christine Eberle

A summer retreat in a beautiful setting holds the promise of a profound encounter with God—but what about the other fifty-one weeks? Literally, most of our days are spent in ordinary time. Once we are back in the routine of regular life, how do we hold on to that connection and continue to notice and savor God’s presence?

Amid our many concerns, there is one urgent but often unasked question. Where is God in all this? On this retreat, we will pray with the wonders of the created world, surprising encounters with strangers, challenging and awe-inspiring experiences, poignant moments of life transition, and heartbreaking goodbyes. Discovering the sacred in the commonplace, we will return to our ordinary days with a renewed vision of how God may indeed be found in all things.
